Tours sell out quickly! Purchase tickets online before your visit at rubyfalls.com. Walk-up tickets are not sold onsite at Ruby Falls. Reserved time indicates when you will enter the elevator queue area for your cave adventure. Depending on the number of guest reservations in your selected time window, wait time normally ranges from 10 - 45 minutes before your tour begins. Queue wait times are typically shortest from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM.

Ruby Falls Cavern Castle
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the iconic Ruby Falls Cavern Castle has welcomed generations of guests, eager to explore Lookout Mountain’s underground caverns since 1929. Designed by local architect R.H. Hunt to resemble a 15th-century castle, it is a beloved area landmark built from limestone excavated during the construction of the elevator shaft giving access to the caverns.
Lookout Mountain Tower
Built in 1929 with limestone excavated from the Ruby Falls elevator shaft, the 70+ foot tall historic Lookout Mountain Tower offers unmatched views from its lower and upper decks. The mesmerizing, 360-degree panoramic view of the Cumberland Plateau is truly exceptional.
Blue Heron Overlook
Delight in breathtaking views of the Tennessee Valley from the accessible Blue Heron Overlook, featuring a red-green true-color colorblind viewfinder. This delightful vantage point is connected by elevated walkway to the historic Lookout Mountain Tower.
Designed to encourage curiosity in caves and geology, the Village Gift Shop offers an extensive collection of curated keepsakes and gifts. Tried-and-true favorites and new classics, including a rock candy mountain, make this shop a pleasure to explore.
The Cavern Café is nestled in the historic Ruby Falls Castle and offers coffee, sandwiches, snacks, hot dogs, plus cold beverages. Open Saturdays and Sundays.

High Point ZIP Adventure at Ruby Falls
Open seasonally, High Point ZIP Adventure at Ruby Falls is the ultimate zip line adventure above the tree tops on Lookout Mountain, featuring 700-feet of rushing zip lines and a 40-foot climbing tower with five routes of varying difficulty with incredible views of the Tennessee River and Tennessee Valley.
