Ruby Falls Entrance & Ticket Atrium
The Entrance and Ticket Atrium features a stunning 37-foot waterfall mural, geode-encrusted ticket desk, and guest locker rentals.
Tours sell out quickly! For best availability, purchase your tickets online before your visit to Ruby Falls. Tickets can also be purchased at Ruby Falls by selecting from the available queue entrance times at the Ruby Falls ticket desk or from ticket kiosks located inside the Ticket Atrium. Reserved time indicates when you will enter the queue for your cave tour. Depending on the number of guest reservations in your selected time window, wait time normally ranges from 10 - 45 minutes before your tour begins. Queue wait times are typically shorter from 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM.

Ruby Falls Cavern Castle
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the stately Ruby Falls Cavern Castle has welcomed generations of guests, eager to explore Lookout Mountain’s underground caverns since 1929. Designed to resemble a 15th-century Irish castle, it is a beloved area landmark built from limestone excavated during the construction of the elevator shaft giving access to the caverns.
Lookout Mountain Tower
Built in 1929 with limestone excavated from the Ruby Falls elevator shaft, the 70+ foot tall iconic Lookout Mountain Tower offers unmatched views from its lower and upper decks. The mesmerizing, 360-degree panoramic view is truly exceptional.
Blue Heron Overlook
Delight in breathtaking views of the Tennessee Valley from the accessible Blue Heron Overlook, featuring a red-green colorblind viewfinder. This new vantage point is connected by elevated walkway to the historic Lookout Mountain Tower.
Designed to encourage curiosity in caves and geology, the Village Gift Shop offers an extensive collection of curated keepsakes and gifts. Tried-and-true favorites and new classics, including a rock candy mountain, make this shop a pleasure to explore.
In response to COVID-19, the Cavern Café and Back Porch food carts are temporarily closed. Fresh-roasted nuts are temporarily unavailable. Grab and go snacks are available in the Village Gift Shop. Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the facilities.
The Back Porch on the Village Plaza offers a respite for guests to kick back and grab a bite to eat while enjoying the spectacular views at this umbrella-shaded, outdoor dining area. (Open Seasonally)
The Cavern Café is nestled in the historic Ruby Falls Castle and offers coffee, sandwiches, snacks, hot dogs, plus cold beverages.
Grab and go from Ruby’s Kitchen cooler in the Village Gift Shop. Snacks, ice cream, pastries, prepared sandwiches, treats and refreshing drinks are ready to fuel your adventure. Delicious fresh-roasted, cinnamon-glazed pecans, cashews, peanuts and almonds are available at multiple locations throughout Ruby Falls.
High Point ZIP Adventure at Ruby Falls
Open seasonally, High Point ZIP Adventure at Ruby Falls is the ultimate zip line adventure above the tree tops on Lookout Mountain, featuring 700-feet of rushing zip lines and a 40-foot climbing tower with five routes of varying difficulty with incredible views of the Tennessee River and Tennessee Valley.
