Haunted Cavern

Nightmares return to Lookout Mountain as Ruby Falls hosts the annual Haunted Cavern. This intense event takes place both above and below ground and is considered one of the area’s best haunted attractions. And remember…once you’re underground, no one can hear you scream.

Ruby Falls Christmas Underground

While mining for rubies at Ruby Falls, an underground passage was uncovered that leads to the North Pole! Visit Santa in the Ruby Falls mines and see how he and his elves mine for Joystone - the special stone that represents the spirit of Christmas!

Ruby Falls celebrates 89 years since its discovery in 1928. Every visitor at Ruby Falls on December 30th will receive a flyer with fun cave facts and a vintage style postcard to celebrate the occasion.
