Led by a senior-level guide, guests will discover how Ruby Falls Cave was formed, the science behind many of the most curious geological formations in the cave, and how the cave and ancient formations have changed over time.

Discover fossils embedded in limestone, learn about the many factors influencing the amount of limestone that a body of water can dissolve, and how thousands of years of chemical reactions create formations in many sizes, shapes, and hues. Spend extra time at the waterfall to take in the beautiful and towering water-etched limestone walls surrounding the waterfall.
