Ruby Falls Celebrates 96 Years of Discovery With Special Activities

On December 30, 1928, Leo Lambert discovered the thundering underground waterfall Ruby Falls, located 1,120 feet beneath the summit of Lookout Mountain.
To commemorate the 96th anniversary of the discovery of Ruby Falls, 96 guests will experience the breathtaking waterfall for the original admission price of $2 on select morning Cave Walks. Tickets must be purchased online, in advance.
Complimentary keepsake vintage-style postcards and commemorative booklets with lesser-known facts and legends about the cavern will be available for guests, while supplies last, honoring Leo Lambert’s incredible journey leading to the discovery of Ruby Falls and generations of visitors who have visited the park since its opening.
