ZIP Adventure FAQs
Before continuing, we would like to make you aware of our policies, rules, and regulations. Please read the information below and check the box on the bottom of this page to verify you understand and accept these policies, rules, and regulations.
We require full payment at the time of purchase. Your credit card will be charged when you click "Accept" on the confirmation page. Charges to your credit card will appear as Ruby Falls.
Unless otherwise noted, tickets will expire one year from the date of purchase.
Ticket Redemption Options
1. Printed Tickets - Printing tickets prior to arrival is encouraged at all locations for
ease of entry.
2. Mobile Device - Ticket confirmations are emailed as a PDF file. If you can access your email and open PDF file attachments on your device, the tickets can be scanned directly from the mobile device.
No exchanges or refunds available for ZIP Adventure tickets. There are no refunds for courses interrupted by hazardous weather conditions. If hazardous weather continues beyond 1 hour, a rain check voucher will be issued with a value based on the portion of your visit impacted by the closure.
Inclement Weather Policy
High Point ZIP Adventure typically remains open during rain. In the event of lightning, thunder, high winds, or heavy rain, we may suspend activities for up to 1 hour while inclement weather passes. If hazardous weather continues beyond 1 hour, a rain check voucher will be issued with a value based on the portion of your visit impacted by the closure. Your safety and comfort are always our #1 priority.
High Point ZIP Adventure is designed to be accessible to as many people as possible. However, due to the inherent nature of the activities, certain restrictions apply:
• Weight Restrictions - Zip Line: 60-275 lbs; Climbing Wall: 25-275 lbs
• Climbing wall and zip lines require a person to be mobile and have functional use of both hands and feet.
• Participants must be capable of understanding instructions, rules, and regulations associated with this activity.
The High Point ZIP Adventure at Ruby Falls is located in the Eastern Time Zone. Please take note of the time you booked online. We cannot guarantee your course time if late, and additional wait times may be experienced. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to time booked online to allow time for check in and restroom breaks. Participants must be ready to start the ZIP Adventure experience at their booked time.
Clothing Restrictions & Recommendation
Participants should wear comfortable clothing that will allow ease of movement while participating on the climbing wall and zip lines. Shirt and pants/shorts are required. Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes required – no sandals or sling backs. Keen or Hiking Type Sandals and 5 Finger shoes are not allowed on the climbing wall and zip lines even though they are closed-toe. Long hair must be pulled back into a ponytail. Jewelry should be removed. All personal items (wallet, cell phone, keys, cameras, etc.) will need to be placed in a basket prior to entering the ZIP Adventure experience and can be retrieved following completion of the climbing wall and zip lines. This rule is for your safety and the safety of those below you. Ruby Falls and High Point ZIP Adventure will not be held responsible for lost or damaged items that guests do not remove according to guidelines.
All participants must sign a waiver prior to beginning the High Point ZIP Adventure climbing wall and zip lines. Waivers for participants age 18 & under must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. For certain all activities, there are weight restriction for safety and equipment.
