PRESS RELEASE: Ruby Falls Expands Marketing And Operation Teams

THE LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN ATTRACTION ADDS KEY STAFF TO MEET BUSINESS GROWTH

CHATTANOOGA (January 15, 2019) Ruby Falls announces the addition of three keystaff positions to support the company’s growth. Ruby Falls welcomes Neyrissa Best, Missy Montgomery, and Matt Owens to the Marketing and Operations teams. Best joins as the Inside Sales Coordinator; Montgomery as Digital Media & Public Relations Coordinator and Owens as Senior Graphic Designer.

Neyrissa Best joins the Ruby Falls operations team fulltime as Inside Sales Coordinator after working with R&R Marketing since 2016. Best’s unfailing attention to detail and welcoming demeanor is a perfect fit for her externally facing role coordinating international, civic, special interest, convention and school group visits for the Lookout Mountain Attractions brand. 

As the digital media & public relations coordinator, MissyMontgomery drives digital media strategies for Ruby Falls’ social media platforms. Working with the marketing team, Montgomery strengthens brand awareness through collaboration with local and regional influencers, and news and media outlets to promote special events and projects related to the Ruby Falls mission. Prior to joining the Ruby Falls team, Montgomery held the role of Social Marketing Coordinator for a Christian media company in Orlando, Florida. 

Matt Owens joins the Ruby Falls Marketing team relocating from Oneonta, Alabama where he founded and led a full-service graphic design company.  Owens brings over a decade of experience in print and digital graphics and is exceptionally skilled in formulating original concepts. “We are very excited to welcome Matt to the Ruby Falls marketing team,” says Director of Marketing, Beth Robinson. “His extensive background, outstanding creative talent and eye for design will be a strong asset as we continue to advance the iconic Ruby Falls brand.” 

Andrew Miller, Ruby Falls Business Solutions Manager accepted the expansion of his position to oversee the brand’s e-Commerce platforms and will take the lead in providing digital and predictive analytics and insights. The new role leverages Miller’s high-level understanding of industry and digital trends, creating a strategically agile, cross-functional marketing team. Miller has been with Ruby Falls since 2009.  

In the months leading up to the recent 90thanniversary of the discovery of Ruby Falls, the attraction acquired sole ownership of R&R Hospitality LLC, debuted a multi-sensory light show, and completed a multimillion-dollar expansion. The next phase of Ruby Falls’ expansion is in development and will be announced later this year.
