My fondest memory of our trip to Ruby Falls was actually our guide. I do wish I knew her name! She was friendly and funny. My Husband is quite tall, andd he was at the end of our group, when our guide stopped everyone at the beginning. She asked him his name, he told her "Gordon". she announced to everyone that "This is Mr. Gordon, if you are behind him, you are in the wrong place, he is hard to miss, He is a big white man in a big black coat!" He was wearing a black trench coat. Everyone laughed and this set the tone for our journey into Falls. She was a lovely and infromative guide, she made our trip to Ruby Falls even more enjoyable!!
My first trip To Tennesse
December 22, 2009I am from California I went to Ruby Falls for my eighth birthday with my aunt, grandma and two cousins. It was the best expirience I tell my son who 6yrs. old about it all the time and my husband. It was the most outrageous thing I ever seen. A memory that will last forever. I am now 34yrs. old and can remember every little detail of Ruby Falls. It is something everyone should share with their families. I hope to take a trip with my children and husband soon so they can share their expirience with their children when they get older.
