• Discount combination tickets are available at Ruby Falls for many of the areas most popular attractions. Discount Combination tickets to the Lookout Mountain attractions are also available online without sales tax applied.

• Chattanooga Packages takes the work out of planning your trip to Chattanooga. They offer a wide variety of hotel/attraction packages.

• Due to its location, weather is not a factor at Ruby Falls; in fact rain actually enhances the tour by increasing the volume of water in the cave.

• The paved pathway used on the tour is less than a mile round trip and has only a few groups of steps in a few areas coming in sets of 4-5 at a time. Since a short walk is involved, we recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes.

• The cave is 60 degrees year round with a very high relative humidity that makes it feel like 70. Most of our guests are comfortable in this temperature, but some do prefer to wear a light jacket or sweater.

• Due to a few narrow passages, strollers are not permitted in the cave tour. We recommend bringing a front carrier for babies.

• Ruby Falls offers a variety of high quality foods, so bring an appetite.

• Popular nationally known hotel/motel accommodations are located within a few minutes drive. On either side of Lookout Mountain.

• Ruby Falls offers free parking, motor coach and RV parking is also available on site.

• Although the wait is usually minimal for the Ruby Falls tour, mornings and late afternoons tend to be less crowded.

• Ruby Falls offers a variety of activities outside of the tour so plan to spend at least 2 hours on your visit.
